Quick help
Common questions
How do I play a story?
Open the Home tab, choose a story card, and tap Listen. Playback starts from the story player and can continue in the background.
Can I pause or resume audio outside the app?
Yes. You can pause and resume from the player screen, the iOS Lock Screen, Control Center, or compatible headphone controls.
Does Stories work offline?
Yes. Stories is offline-first. The bundled stories, calm music, fonts, and core app features are available without an internet connection after installation.
What does the sleep timer do?
The sleep timer gradually fades audio out and then stops playback after the duration you choose. Open a story or music track, tap the timer icon, and select a time.
Where are favourites saved?
Favourites are stored locally on your device. Tap the heart on a story page or long-press a story card, then find saved items under Profile → Liked content.
How do I update my child's profile?
Open Profile → Profile details. You can update the name, age range, and interests used to personalize the app experience.
How do I delete app data?
Open Settings in the app and choose Reset app data. This removes the local profile, favourites, playback history, and preferences. Uninstalling the app has the same effect.
Does Stories collect personal data?
No. Stories has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking SDKs. Profile details and app activity stay on your device. Read the full Privacy Policy.
Why do I hear no sound?
Check that your device volume is up, Silent Mode is not blocking expected output, and audio is not being routed to Bluetooth headphones or speakers. If the sleep timer has ended, start the story again.
