The short version: Aegis collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no server we operate. All blocking happens on your device.

1. What we collect

Nothing. No account, no remote servers, no analytics SDKs. We do not log, store, or transmit your browsing history, IP address, device identifiers, or any behavioural data.

2. What stays on your device

Block count — a running tally of blocked requests
Settings and preferences
Subscription state cached from Apple StoreKit

3. Data that leaves your device

Aegis operates a local VPN for system-wide blocking. Blocked requests are stopped locally and never leave your phone. Allowed requests go to your upstream DNS resolver. Web traffic itself bypasses the tunnel entirely.

4. App Store & Subscriptions

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive your name, email, payment details, or any personal information.

5. Your rights

GDPR / CCPA grant rights to access, rectify, and erase personal data. Since we hold no personal data, there is nothing to act on. Uninstalling Aegis deletes all on-device storage.
